Welcome to New York Islanders Booster Club

Paul Kreischer, a member and a writer for Isles Talk reports about the latest meeting about the Booster Club with Calvin deHaan and Ryan Strome.

Once again - The NYIBC is involved in the annual American Cancer Society's MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER!

The walk is on Sunday, October 19th at Jones Beach at 7:30 AM.  If you wish to be a part of the team, contact Claire Harding.

If you wish to donate without walking, please click here to do so.

As you all know - it is the last season of the Islanders at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale....

What does that mean for the Booster Club?

Absolutely NOTHING!

The Booster Club will be alive, well, and continuing to serve the Islanders as their official Booster Club.

So what are we doing this year?

We are hoping to get a meeting date very soon.  Keep up with this page, as well as our Twitter Page or our Facebook Page.  The Twitter and Facebook are easier to get to and update a little faster.  Plus - if you have your e-mail given to the club, you will get updates as well.

As always - we are having our annual Tailgate party on Saturday the 11th.  It starts around 3:30PM.  We will be having it by the roped area right in front of the VIP parking.  Here is a picture of where we will be.

We are hoping to have the announcement of our first meeting of the season in the next few days.  Check your e-mail.....

We hope to have our first meeting sometime in November and I would like to do a food drive for Island Harvest as it was suggested by one of our members. As you read in the newspapers and see on TV how many children and adults go to bed each night hungry and that their pantries are at the bare minimum. So I thought since it is near Thanksgiving that it would be great idea to do a food drive.

Going forward after this meeting I would like to adopt Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center which is located in Huntington. I will have list of what they would need from their wish list.   Thanks again to all of your for your support and I know that we will all be generous.  If you have any suggestions please let me know. Rose Marie Muller - Charity Chairperson

We ask that if you join us, please do not bring any glass, as the Coliseum does not want that.  Bring your food, drink and get ready to celebrate the season.

Please bring your enthusiasm and your support.  We hope to see you there.
